Is this blog going to be used?

Because if not, I'm getting involved in some other stuff and I already have two blogs I'm keeping up as things are. I shouldn't have to be constantly clipping news articles to make posts. If Canadians aren't going to use this thing, then I'm going to take it down. I need to streamline my operation and there're no point in keeping this thing up if no one in Canada is interested in excercising free speech. Please let me hear from Canadians on this, the people who are supposed to be using this facility.

Hate-crime charge triggers wave of Internet anti-Semitism

The case of a Regina man charged with promoting hatred on the Internet has sparked an online wave of anti-Semitic comments.

On Wednesday morning, a long-time contributor to the white supremacist website stormfront.org issued an alert saying Terrence Tremaine - known online as mathdoktor99 and JCMateri - was being arrested and charged for his Internet postings.The contributor later added he had been in contact with Tremaine, who had been "held for five hours in a cold cell at the police station."

"He's been charged under Section 319 of the Criminal Code, Canada's notorious hate law," the post reads. "He's been completely gagged. His bail conditions state that he cannot own a computer or access the Internet. Yes, our sordid corrupt justice system becomes more corrupt each day. It's like when they took away Ernst Zundel's pencils."

Zundel is a notorious Holocaust denier who has previously been jailed under Canada's hate laws.

Tremaine, a former lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan, stands charged with wilful promotion of hatred for allegedly posting hateful messages on an Internet website between Feb. 1, 2004, and Nov. 1, 2007.

Early in 2007, a Human Rights Tribunal found Tremaine in violation of the Canadian Human Rights Act for his postings to a white supremacist website. The tribunal ordered Tremaine to stop disseminating such messages and pay a $4,000 fine.

On stormfront.org, news of Tremaine's charge drew posts from contributors purporting to be from locations around Canada, the United States and Britain, as well as in locations described as "Blue-eyed Blondia" and "Soviet Canuckistan."

"If there were no Jews or non-whites in Canada, this would not happen. When is the real problem going to be solved?" posted one contributor, whose location appeared as Lower Mainland, B.C.

Nova Scotia's top Mountie apologized Wednesday for a second time to the black community in Digby for sexist and racist comments made by the former head of the Digby RCMP detachment.

At a Halifax news conference Wednesday, Assistant Commissioner Ian Atkins said the former detachment commander, who retired two years ago, made inappropriate comments.

Atkins did not name the former detachment commander, although it is apparent he was speaking about former staff sergeant Wylie Grimm, who was in command of the Digby detachment before being placed on administrative leave in 2005.

On Tuesday night, Atkins apologized at a public meeting in Digby, attended by members of the black community there.

The apology was necessary, Atkins said on Wednesday, to allow the RCMP and the community to move on.

"Those things had to be acknowledged, and to demonstrate to the community that we were prepared to move forward and to work with the community in developing appropriate sensitivity strategies that would regain the trust of the community," he said.

Atkins said in his 35 years with the force, this is the first time he has needed to apologize to a community. He said the problems at the Digby detachment were the result of the actions of one person, and were not systemic.

He said he wants the community to know that the RCMP are there to provide "unbiased and culturally sensitive" policing. There are four black officers among the 16 at the detachment.

Three years ago, two women who worked at the detachment complained that Grimm made sexually suggestive and racist comments to them and that he engaged in unwanted touching over two years beginning in 2003. Atkins said an investigation found the complaints to be true and that he had made racist comments about a black male constable.

The two women no longer work at the Digby detachment. Atkins said that a member of the black community will sit on a local committee to identify policing issues that need to be addressed.

A jury has delivered a mixed verdict in the sexual assault trial of a Toronto pastor, convicting him of sexually assaulting one female parishioner while acquitting him of raping another woman.
Jurors deliberated for three days before returning the verdict Thursday night against 59-year-old Rev. Frank Lawrence.

The spiritual leader of was accused of forcing sex on two women who sought his so-called healing powers when he ran Toronto Mount Zion Revival Church of the Apostles, in the city's west end.
The incidents were alleged to have occurred between 2000 and 2005.

Lawrence maintained he had consensual sex with the women, who bore his children.

The women testified they paid Lawrence more than $100 for nude "healing" baths and naked rubdowns aimed at ridding them of evil spirits.

The complainants said they gave in to unwanted sex with the pastor numerous times because they feared his influence over the spirit world.

The jury found Lawrence guilty of sexually assaulting the 29-year-old woman, but acquitted him of charges involving the 45-year-old, who said she was raped during a ritual beside a freshly dug grave.

The Crown had argued Lawrence abused his position of trust over the women who came to him with emotional or physical problems.

Lawrence was also acquitted of several charges of assault and threatening involving the women.

The pastor has 11 children with various women from his congregation. Court documents show his monthly income in 2005 exceeded $19,000, CTV Toronto's Chris Eby reported.

Lawrence is to return for sentencing on Feb. 28.

Dr. Terry Tremaine, Stormfront's "mathdoktor99" was summoned to the Regina police station yesterday by one of the officers who arrested him and detained him, without charge, last June. At that time, the police seized his computer in an effort to shut him down politically.

Mathdoktor99 is on his way to the police station now (9:30 EST) and expects to be arrested and charged under Canada's notorious "hate law": -- Section 319 of the Criminal Code for his Internet postings.

His suffering at the hands of Canada's thought control police stems from several complaints made by Richard Warman. Warman, who won a Canadian Jewish Congress "human rights award," last June has seriously damaged Dr. Tremaine's life:

* his complaint to the Canadian Human Rights Commission about mathdoktor99's postings on Stromfront resulted in a guilty finding. --In Canada's "mass democracy struggle sessions" or Tribunals, in free speech cases. the dissident is always guilty. * Warman then complained to the University of Saskatchewan and Dr. Tremaine lost his job and standard of living, since then being able to find only low paying, menial work;

* Warman, as is his habit, also filed Criminal Code "hate law" complaints which resulted in last June's raid on Dr. Tremaine and the theft of his computer.The Stormfront community rallied and, within a week, had bought him a replacement.

Throughout Ontario's highly publicized slush fund scandal last year, Premier Dalton McGuinty insisted there was no political motivation behind his government's decision to throw millions in cash at multicultural groups.

And when the province's auditor criticized the government for failing to ensure the $32.5 million in grants were handed out in an "open, transparent or accountable" manner -- but failed to find they had been politically directed -- McGuinty claimed vindication. However, a letter obtained by the Sun suggests McGuinty and his cabinet colleagues did play a role in helping a local Jewish fundraising organization receive a $15-million grant from the province.

The March 30, 2007, letter from prominent Toronto businessman and Liberal party fundraiser Larry Tanenbaum, found in a Freedom of Information request by a York University professor, thanks McGuinty for his "support and commitment to the Tomorrow campaign."

'YOUR GENEROSITY'

"What started as a dream to renovate the Downtown Jewish Community Centre, build a community campus in York Region and redesign our main North York campus will now become a reality in no small part because of your generosity and vision," Tanenbaum told the premier. "This support would not be possible without the assistance of yourself and Cabinet Colleagues," he said in reference to the $15-million grant.

"Ministers (Mike) Colle, (Monte) Kwinter, (David) Caplan and (Greg) Sorbara have all been strong and vocal supporters of this project," he said.

The letter was obtained through Access to Information by York University professor David Noble, an outspoken and somewhat controversial history prof who has had issues with Tanenbaum in the past.

"As far as I am concerned this letter seems like a smoking gun," Noble told the Sun yesterday.

The letter, he suggests, puts the premier, for the first time, in the middle of the slush fund decision-making process.

"All I want to see happen is a public inquiry to see if this was done properly," Noble said.

Karman Wong, McGuinty's press secretary, last night denied the premier was involved in the grant decision-making process.

"The auditor general looked into this matter thoroughly and rejected claims made by the Opposition," Wong said.

"Following the recommendations from the auditor general, we improved the process for organizations that wanted to apply for this type of funding," Wong said.

"Any organization that received funding will continue to be accountable and report back to our government on their progress." Wong also defended the government's decision to approve the grant. "The funding provided to the UJA Federation will be used to build or renovate community centres in three different neighbourhoods in the Greater Toronto Area," Wong said.

"These centres are open to all people in the community and will provide immigrant and settlement services. This investment is about supporting diversity in our communities and helping newcomers in Ontario."

Tanenbaum, a minority owner of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, is listed as a co-chairman of the Tomorrow Campaign, which received the grant along with Gerald Schwartz. Both men are well-connected to the Liberal party and have raised funds for the party in the past. Noble, 62, said what this shows is a cozy relationship. "The Liberal party connections are obvious," he said.

"Tanenbaum is identified in Canadian Who's Who (2006) as the national revenue chairman of the Liberal Party of Canada."

The letter also "implicates the premier and the most powerful cabinet members" of having personal interest in this specific project, Noble suggested.

"Would others looking for funding have this access?" asked Noble, who has been a thorn in the side of Jewish groups before and has launched a lawsuit against one for defamation for being allegedly labelled anti- semitic.

"I am not anti-semitic," he said. "I am Jewish."

The Sun attempted to contact Tanenbaum and Schwartz about the grant yesterday but neither could be reached.

Noble, a New Yorker who came to York University in 1990 after a 10- year stint at MIT in Cambridge, Mass., also said he doesn't oppose the new community centre project.

"My problem is the process and making sure it's fair to everybody," he said. "This is public money."

But when Tanenbaum's group received funding, there were "no applications, no request for proposals and no bidding" for the funding.

"It's mind-boggling," Noble said. "There was no process, no protocol, no administrators and no bureaucrats involved in it all ... I do think it merits an inquiry."

As usual, the Jews get special deals under the table. Corruption is the way that jews have stayed on top for the last 3,000 years. Will this shit ever end? Will the non-Jews of the world ever take a stand and say enough is enough? The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal has fined a Kelowna area man $6,000 for his involvement in a “white pride” Internet website. The tribunal, which wrapped up a series of hearings in Penticton last June, issued its ruling Wednesday against John Beck and the website www.bcwhitepride.com.

In addition to the fine, Beck was ordered to stop posting further discriminatory messages on the internet. Much of the complaint, launched by the Centre for Research-Action on Race Relations (CRARR), was based on evidence presented by Shane Martinez, a human rights activist from Toronto.

Martinez conducted an investigation into the B.C. White Pride website in 2004, during which he pretended to be a 25-year-old woman named Rachel from Kingston, Ont. who had grown sympathetic to the white pride cause. “Rachel” and a Kelowna man exchanged a series of e-mails and later photographs. Martinez had acquired photos off the Internet of a blonde woman allegedly involved in the white power movement in the U.S.

In his ruling, tribunal member Athanasios Hadjis pointed to e-mailed comments by Beck during which he admitted co=founding the group B.C. White Pride and helping write much of the website‘s contents.

“There is no evidence before me of Mr. Beck denying that he posted the impugned messages or that he was not their author,” Hadjis stated in his ruling. Beck opted not to testify at the hearing and called no witnesses. However, he denied in media interviews that he was involved in establishing the website. He admitted knowing the people who created the site, but would not identify them.

Fo Niemi, executive-director for CRARR, applauded the tribunal‘s decision. He described it as “an important victory in the national fight against racism, anti-semitism and other forms of hate on-line.”

Niemi said in a telephone interview from Montreal, this marks one of the few times an individual has been directly connected with such a website. “It just showed there are a lot of challenges in going after authors of a hate website, whose identity is not established at the beginning,” he said.
“We‘re dealing with basically faceless hate communicators.”

Although the $6,000 fine represents a fraction of the cost of holding the hearing, Niemi said CRARR believes such prosecutions are worthwhile. “If we don‘t do that, there will be a proliferation (of on-line hate sites) and vulnerable minds will be influenced and our social cohesion, our social peace, will be threatened,” he said.

Niemi said CRARR hopes legislation will be changed to enable the tribunal to impose heavier penalties in the future. The maximum fine allowable under the Canadian Human Rights Act is $10,000.

Beck was represented at the hearings by far right advocate Paul Fromm of the Canadian Association for Free Expression. Fromm said this is the stiffest punishment ever imposed by the tribunal and wondered how Beck, on a limited income, could afford to pay the fine within the next 120 days, as directed by the tribunal.

“This is police state persecution,” he said. “It‘s not a matter of hate, it‘s a matter of basically outlawing politically incorrect views they don‘t like.” Although the tribunal has no formal appeal process, Fromm said he will suggest Beck seek a judicial review of the decision. He has 30 days to do so, but Fromm noted most average citizens don‘t have the financial means to hire a lawyer for such legal action.

The tribunal did agree to reimburse Beck $768 to cover his expenses while appearing as a witness at an earlier hearing which determined he should be included in the action against bcwhitepride.com.

Nearly half the population of the GTA is foreign born, which is raising differing views on how effectively Canada's iconic sport has tried to encourage newcomers to play hockey.

Toronto's east end is home to many new arrivals from China and the Philippines and where in 2005 the 51-year-old Wexford house league folded, largely from a lack of interest. Another league, the Scarborough Hockey Association, is also on shaky ground with dwindling enrolment.

This poses a question: If hockey is critical to the Canadian identity, then why aren't young boys and girls being aggressively recruited to fill empty teams? Ken Jeffers, manager of access and diversity for the city of Toronto's forestry, parks and rec department, says it's because hockey has a history of exclusion and hasn't acknowledged the demographic shift from white middle class to multicultural over the past decades.

"Hockey is a symbol of being Canadian," said Jeffers, who works closely with many youth outreach programs including Hockey In The Neighbourhood. "But it's the very sport that through its own structure and through racism as well, where you don't bring kids of colour into the sport and they are just left on the outside (and) you have alienation."

NHL netminder Kevin Weekes, whose immigrant parents are from Barbados, said he was "fortunate" during his minor amateur career with the Toronto Red Wings because the club "wanted the team to have good people and good players" regardless of background. "We had players from every background from Italian to Portuguese, Greek, East Indian, Caribbean and West Indian," said the 32-year-old Toronto native, now backing up Martin Brodeur in New Jersey. However, Weekes admitted most of the teams he faced while growing up were filled with white players.

"We had a pretty diverse organization, but that wasn't always reflective in all the other organizations around minor hockey." The 2006 census results released this week show almost half the population of the GTA born in other countries, most of which aren't rooted in ice hockey, such as India, China, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Jamaica. Hockey Canada is aware of the changing face of cities from coast to coast and is pumping funds and programming into outreach recruiting campaigns such as the Dreams Come True initiative and working with local hockey organizations, said Glen McCurdie of Hockey Canada.

"It's incumbent upon us to put forward a (welcoming) product that really encourages an environment of success and I think, quite frankly, we haven't done what we could in that area," said McCurdie. "If you look at the recruitment of hockey players; I think hockey is guilty of just opening our doors - for forever, basically - and expecting that people are going to stampede in. In a lot of areas (in Canada), that's still true but in other areas, that's simply no longer the case."

From this, it would seem that at least some of the regular white people in Canada, and most definitely in Alberta and British Columbia, would be even slightly receptive to the Northwest Imperative, this movement.

In his October 26 ruling in Warman v. Jessica Beaumont, Canadian Human Rights Tribunal Member (Judge) Athanasios Hadjis ruled: "I find that in most of the impugned messages, Ms Beaumont engaged in the communication of matter that was likely to expose persons identifiable on the basis of a prohibited ground of discrimination (namely, race, religion national or ethnic origin, and sexual orientation) to hatred or contempt." (para. 74)

There were 30 messages in total. If "most" or the messages violated Sec. 13.1, still some did not. Which ones? Hadjis won't tell us.Now comes the hammer held over this young woman's head: "Ms. Beaumont is ordered to cease and desist from communicating or causing to be communicated ...any matter of the type contained in the messages at issue in this case that is likely to expose a person or persons to hatred or contempt by reason of the fact that the person or persons are identifiable on the basis of a prohibited ground of discrimination." (para 80)

Should Miss Beaumont violate this order, she faces contempt of court charges and jail.However, as Hadjis hasn't specified which messages are problematic -- other than "most" -- she has scant guidelines, except to avoid discussions of immigration, the homosexual agenda and multiculturalism.

Since 2005, the Canadian Human Rights Commission has been secretly expanding their powers into the realm of law enforcement under the guise of “fighting hate.” The thought control maniacs at the CHRC, using Communist style tactics, have been trying to elevate themselves into the level of some sort of National Security Agency.

Unlike Police agencies – the Commission has absolutely no authority to engage in any form of spying operations on Canadian citizens. Yet, through a series of relationships with police agencies they have unprecedented access to police databases containing the most sensitive and private police files on Canadians.

On May 10, 2007, head internet investigator for the CHRC Dean Steacy admitted, under examination by Barbara Kulaszka, that the Commission has an arrangement with Canadian Police Agencies. When Barbara Kulaszka asked what exactly the arrangement was, Giacomo Vigna for the CHRC invoked Section 37 of the Canada Evidence Act to stop dead all questioning.

Nothing should scare freedom loving Canadians more than the politically motivated thought control apparatus of the Canadian Human Rights Commission having any access to the most sensitive and private information of millions of Canadians.

Recently, it was revealed that the CHRC currently has “indirect” access to the police CPIC database. CPIC is the acronym for Canadian Police Information Centre. CPIC is a highly secured computer based police information system.

CPIC contains records such as:

· vehicle information
· dental records
· identifying marks/scars
· firearms ownership
· criminal records
· fingerprints,
· current surveillance information
· known aliases
· medical conditions
· and much more

The CHRC has numerous times relied on police agencies to analyze data captured in the execution of search warrants on trumped-up alleged criminal “hate” (Sec. 319 of Criminal Code) violations – yet the victims are very rarely ever charged. Instead the evidence seized is later used before Canadian Human Rights Tribunal hearings through testimony given by police officers.

We only know the tip of this unholy alliance between the police and the CHRC. The Federal Court Appeal by Marc Lemire should bring more evidence into the open.

Covert operations on Canadians are no only conducted by the Canadian Human Rights Commission, but also by those that use the Canadian Human Rights Act for possible political means.

The misnamed Canadian “Human Rights” Commission has been using tax-payers dollars to fund their political vendetta against individuals and websites they hate. Websites such as The Freedomsite (www.freedomsite.org) – have been the focus of a 3 year legal attack by the Commission to shut it down over documents such as “The Immigrant Poem,” criticism of immigration and even the awful “hateful” act of posting an unedited copy of the Canadian Human Rights Act on the Freedomsite!

The Commission and complainant Richard Warman are seeking a lifetime speech ban placed on Freedomsite webmaster, Marc Lemire along with hefty fines. In what best can be described as sheer lunacy, the CHRC (with only remedial powers and no police powers) has attempted to elevate itself to the level of a CSIS (National Security Agency) in an ongoing infiltration operation, using shady and secretive tactics to silence and possibly entrap those they don't like.

The Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies is now offering a new course aimed at Canadian law enforcement agencies and "investigators" entitled "Investigating Internet Extremism." According to the Wiesenthal Centre’s website:"The workshop works from the premise that in order for law enforcement to be effective in the arena of hate, it must be proactive rather than reactive." The course description continues "Investigating Internet Hate consists of three components; namely infiltration, internet tools and legalities. In the first section, police officers are introduced to the most frequented web forums, allowing them to become part of the community and investigate varying groups and their activities." I seriously doubt that if you took someone from the mid/late 50’s and told them this would happen to a young 20-something lady because she held an opinion and had the temerity to voice it, he would believe you. He would think you mad--it would just be inconceivable--you experienced those times, am I right?

I mean let us just present a contrast here-you have a young lady on one hand; a lady that works, pays her bills, pulls her own weight, has a job, a home, a life-commits no crimes, accepts no freebies from the system, and tries to live according to a strict and demanding ideology.

On the other hand you have a group of professional bums, who live off the system, are rotten with drugs, have zero morality, and steal as if it were their sacred right-they re-produce indiscriminately and expect the system to raise their bastard offspring, detract from the public health because they are addicted to narcotics and need to prostitute themselves to support a drug habit, and in general their personal and sexual hygiene is so lax it is terrifying.

So you tell me-which would you prefer to have residing in the house next to you? You can quote that entire para, I don’t think it will have any impact on her situation.

This is what I mean when I say I don’t understand this world-anyone with even minimal intelligence would not want to live in such a state, yet we all turn away and try to pretend this is not happening. It baffles the mind. We all yearn for "the good old days", there is a huge market for nostalgia, and it can all be traced right back to that. We would retreat to a phantasm of the past rather than create that world in the present.

It makes no sense, no matter how I try to wrap my mind around it. It is almost as if it is our fate, our destiny, has been set and there is nothing, no action, no stratagem that will alter the rock of fate that is going to splat our world--just like reading a book. You know the end, it is on the last page--so if you read that first you have the answer and nothing in the plot will force you to change what is, in fact-fact. It feels like that. I skipped ahead and read the last chapter and now I have the knowledge, but I am so very powerless to make others understand what is coming. I am a spirit with foreknowledge, but am unable to act in the realm of "real" people and that was the trade that I had to make.

An economically displaced sub-class of Whites have been deprived of employment by downsizing, relocation of manufacturing facilities to nations with cheap labour (globalism rears its ugly head), cheap immigrant labour and preferential hiring practices that favour minorities, especially non-white, non-citizens.

Canada is one of the very few nations that does not require citizenship as a condition for employment in the civil service or the public sector. Contrary to what the politically correct would have you believe, most White welfare recipients are not lazy bums who don’t want to work. They are part of a growing sub-class of the economically displaced who have been legislated into poverty. Former office manager or busboy, they run out of EI and are forced on to welfare.

These were good, hardworking Canadians who would like to be so again. Their search for work, however, is fruitless. There are no jobs. What few jobs there are in the civil/public service sectors are reserved for non-white, non-citizen refugees and immigrants. This leads to the ever widening downward spiral of poverty, broken families, depression, alcohol and substance abuse etc.

Unfortunately in some cases former housewives are turning tricks. Former CEOs are dumpster diving and illegal aliens are being clothed, set up in nice apartments, given furniture and all necessary household goods, and an income to support them until employment can be found for them, if ever.

And how is all this paid for? It is paid for, in large part, out of the tax moneys previously collected from formerly productive White Canadians who have been driven into poverty. So much has been paid for this that there is nothing left to care for our own Citizens!

Take a look into your back alley. With the exception of the odd aboriginal, who is sleeping in that cardboard box? Who are the homeless? Who is diving into your dumpster for recyclables? When you go to the bank machine or to the bus stop, who is asking you for spare change? Are any of them non-whites? NO! They are mostly White.

This is the result of a Canadian Government that places the welfare of the citizens of other nations above that of their own. Is this the will of the Canadian people? Is this your will?

On February 19th, 2005 the aptly named Bill Noble had his Fort St. John, BC apartment raided by Canadian authorities. The police had a warrant to search and seize his computer equipment for evidence pertaining to violations of Section 319 of the Criminal Code of Canada (Public Incitement of Hatred) through his website “exterminance.org”.

Shortly after the raid, Mr. Noble was placed under arrest. His crime was speaking his mind. Under Section 319 a person can be imprisoned for up to two years for the vaguely defined crime of “communicating statements in a public place with intent to incite hatred against an identifiable group in such a way that there will likely be a breach of the peace.”

Essentially, the law Mr. Noble has been arrested for allegedly violating potentially criminalizes any form of political speech. Given time, courts have the nasty habit of broadening their interpretation of any given law. Regardless of their initial intent, statutes that limit freedom of expression are bound to be used to criminalize any form of dissent. No person of conscience should be able to look at a law like Section 319 without outrage.

Bill Noble is a political prisoner. He has not been deprived of his freedom for any crime committed against another’s person or property. Nor has he directed others to engage in anti-social or violent behavior. Mr. Noble made public his opposition to the agenda of the Canadian government and he now faces prosecution for it.

Toronto School Board Ponders Controversial Black-Focused Schools

Is it a solution or segregation? Well, that sort of depends who you ask.

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is looking at the controversial idea of black-focused schools again, an idea that's been rejected in the past, as some of its members complain that the education system is failing students of colour.At least one may be opened as early as next fall if the TDSB goes ahead with the proposal. A report is being prepared on how such a facility would work in the context of the public board, and two community meetings are planned over the next week to discuss the pros and cons.

When asked, GTA residents seemed mainly opposed to the idea."You're segregated. Why would you do that?" asked one man."Toronto is multicultural, so I don't think separating the classes or the people makes sense," noted Edi Chehore.

However some expressed enthusiasm for the idea. Diallo Masters opined, "I think that's a very good idea. More black influence."The hypothetical African-centred alternative school would run from junior kindergarten to Grade 8 and aside from highlighting black history and achievements would also employ more black teachers and mentors.

"We've spoken to some of the kids and what they're saying is that the curriculum does not focus on who they are in a positive way," said Louis March of the African-Canadian Heritage Association. "It's time for change ... the current status-quo system is not working."

Such schools already exist in U.S. cities including Detroit and Washington, and though there aren't any black-focused schools in Ontario yet there is a grade school and high school for First Nations students and an alternative high school for gay and lesbian students.But while some school board members and community leaders believe the schools would be a good idea to help address the lower graduation rates among black students, others aren't too crazy about the idea, warning it amounts to segregation.

Premier Dalton McGuinty appeared opposed to the idea when it was proposed by more than 500 parents and students in 2005 - he said at the time he preferred the idea of bringing various cultures together in schools instead of separating them."I don't think it's a good idea," the premier said. "I'm not personally comfortable with that."

The concept was first tabled more than a decade ago, in 1995, by the province's Royal Commission on Learning.

Parents have reportedly asked for three schools in the city's east, west and south ends. Meetings to discuss the idea will take place Thursday, November 8 at 7pm at North Albion Collegiate at Kipling and Finch Aves., and then on Monday, November 12 at 7pm at Northview Heights Secondary School on Finch Ave.

Original White Canada Blog Shut Down

It seems to have taken the Canadian secret police about one month to shut down the original White Canada blog. Well, let's see how long it takes the Warman Gang to shut this one down.

For those of you who came in late, the purpose of White Canada is to allow freedom of speech on such issues as "multi-culturalism" and "diversity" to Canadians, which is forbidden to them by their own government. Our Canadian readers can send their comments to

and these will be re-posted to the blog by an American citizen who technically still enjoys access to the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, although as we have seen, Google doesn't seem to be aware that such a proviso exists.
